Fifteen Street loves to stay connected with the folks at GrowingGreat not just because we helped them design their logo, but because they are always up to really great things. In fact, lessons for nutrition and school gardens are starting today in the elementary schools around town. GrowingGreat is a non-profit garden and nutrition education organization dedicated to inspiring children and adults to adopt healthy eating habits in order to affect real and lasting lifestyle changes through classroom nutrition lessons, school gardens and community events.
GrowingGreat gets environmental with Jack Johnson's 2013 Tour Greening
Jack Johnson and his crew are taking actions to minimize the environmental impact of their 2013 Theater Tour and GrowingGreat has been selected to be one of the non-profits featured at the pre-show in Los Angeles. In line with Jack's Tour Greening, they have created a recyclable cloth banner and will not be handing out any paper items.
